This ruined Spanish Colonial Mission, 1622-1677 in Central New Mexico is one of three US Park Service Monument sites. The Gran Quivera trio is located north of the White Sands Proving Ground and west of Mountain Aire, NM. This little visited site is well maintained and worth a planned excursion.
