Greetings returnees and new members of the Sacred Circle

Greetings returnees and new members of the Sacred Circle.

The 13 Moons since the 2011 Wisdom Keepers Conference (fhwisdomkeepers.org) have been very busy and full with completing and initiation activities.....and always, the maintenance of that which has been integrated into our Eternal Present, the Now.....for life is largely about maintenance.

This past year I have completed a documentary on the life and artwork of our father, the
Potawatomi Indian Artist, Woody Crumbo, as 2012 is his Centennial Year. This year has been about honoring family, friends and heritage.

This is the energy and vision which is coming forward with me at this time.
Now, Let us walk together for a while, in conference or not.

The 'Walk' or 'Sacred Path' put forward on these pages, will support and honor our mysterious and precious selves. The 'Walk' may be called, if you so choose, that of the Gratitude Principle. The path entries that follow may be read, studied, blogged or journaled. This is The Journey of Your Sacred Self and your preparation begins with the walk within...in this way we will have begun the work of ' Becoming of One Mind ' with one another for a while.......the 'Mind of Gratitude' for all of the gifts that the Creator has made available to us, the 'two-leggeds' for this, our 'earth walk'.

Spring is a good time to dream our year; pray, appeal, release, heal, renew, see and accept, planning and envisioning the new as you sit in the Center of your Circle, recognizing partnership with our elemental parents, the Strengthening Father Sky-Sun and the fragrant, warming Mother Earth. The Spirit of The Gratitude Principle will give our hearts wings and sweeten our inner waters. For we remember that our world was Created in beauty and it still is.

Come, let us walk together for a while...

Dawn woman

  1. Excerpt from the Flint Hills Wisdom Keepers Gathering website (fhwisdomkeepers.org) about the film mentioned above:

Artistic Connections to Mother Earth and Father Sky

We are blessed for the opportunity to feature the film The Spirit Talk of…Woody Crumbo made by one of our honored guests of 2012, Minisa Crumbo Halsey. In the 50-minute documentary, Minisa pays loving tribute to the life and art of her father, renowned Citizen Potawatomi artist Woody Crumbo. Through Woody’s artistic legacy, we are inspired by the playful and rhythmic dance of nature and the prayerful and solemn ceremony of his people, as seen through his keen eye and captured in his “spirit” work. As we contemplate the powerful images this film is certain to evoke, Minisa reminds us that: "Life is about finding the fluid line that connects Spirit with form and beyond to visible and audible expression. Spirit behind expression and the continuity of identity occurs on the level of Spirit, not on the level of form. May we all experience that connection in our lives…"
