On 8 Manik (January 26, 2019) we celebrate the initiation of the new Deer Priests with fire and offerings.

Deer is viewed by many as residing in the east-spring direction of the Medicine Wheel.

The east is a young, mental fire direction and represents inspiration and illumination. The shadow side of this direction is anger.

This is a day to mindfully seek balance and harmony with these powers.
