Gratitude Principle Teaching - Day 2

the cultivation of the divine garden may be approached by electing to revisit our golden heart center and identifying it as the FIRST AND ELEMENTAL GARDEN OF EDEN. a good place to BEGIN considering this look is by gazing out of the window with the intention of renewing our relationship with the natural world. this is a proven and worthy gift, indeed the first, most enduring and beautiful gift from the Creator, and thereby also a/the most trusted tool with which to ally our core values of unconditional love and divine potential. remember to breathe and be breathed as we reform natural alliances with the inner garden. allow or envision the inner garden to be grounded in the golden and loving light of the father sky sun and the rootedness of the unconditional love of the mother earth. this is the essential inner garden from which all else will emerge. in Spirit, make some tobacco ties and hang them around the space and bless it and ask for it to be a part of the annual blessing of ALL fields and beasts of the fields, the inner and outer fields of Creation.. we cultivate the inner fields first through reception and willingness remembering always, that we are inseparable aspects of all that is sacred and divine.

play, divinely play with small and reasonable possibilities for instance, playfully and gratefully examine any sweet grass shoots, listen to spring bird calls, water the house plants, dust or clean out some small drawer or shelf, look or step outside and notice the mists, winds and clouds, get plenty of sleep and a good soup in you. open a fresh pack of crackers to go with it. call someone who needs to hear from you, journal, visit someone who cannot get out, look deep into pet eyes and the eyes of two-legged loved ones send love without expecting return to known and unknown places that need heart nourishing and encouragement turn over some ground with the golden plow of love. when the energetic sky has been set and some ground plowed, select some personal vegetable or flower seeds such as bachelor buttons, peas, lettuce something light, colorful and personally simple and pleasing and symbolically plant them.

and then, forget that you are within the 21 day time. that has been done and will take its own course. very importantly, as a daily and moment to moment activity, endeavor to express gratitiude for EVERYTHING, experienced, heard about or even thought of EVEN you cannot fully feel it, in this way we supply the fertilizer and water for the building of core gratitude by remembering to reflect ALL to the backboard of the golden light of loving Creation, thereby building, building, building our store of positive automatic responses which will come forward and to our aid in times of stress, inquiry or need. even if we cannot approve of or accept certain things we can at least give them permission to BE and therefore move somewhat out of the undesirable quarter of judgement, and from that endurance, bravery, inspiration ILLUMINATION and patience can and will emerge.

you and the group are doing the final inner work of preparing the energetic and physical circle into which the beloved will enter and find a place of trust and love prepared for them.

  1. Just this afternoon, I looked out my third floor window onto an unremarkable gravel roof, surrounded by tall buildings and miles of glass, wondering who the faceless people were behind the glass windows. Are they content with their place and space in life? Do they really like living in such a huge city where anonymity abounds? It has only been part of a day…much of which spent flying through the air, just without my own wings…and already I miss my Flint Hills sanctuary, the open spaces. Everything seeming so disconnected for me here until a little kamikaze bird flew close by, purposefully to get my attention on the walk to dinner. The little bird reminded me that the Creator is manifest everywhere, whether the hills of flint or the asphalt jungle of the city. Nature and life are present everywhere we could possibly turn to look if only we would just do so. It is like candy for the heart and spirit. Take it in. Breathe slowly and release. Indeed, to allow oneself to be breathed is an ultimate act of trust and surrender. It may be difficult at times, but the Creator seems to know what we need and provides all that we need when the time is right. Thank you for sending your messenger to me…on balance, this has been a very good day.
